CFP: Networks of Knowledge: How Ideas Travel from, to, and within the Iberian Peninsula

Call for Papers – 45th Annual Convention, Northeast Modern Language Association (NeMLA) April 3-6, 2014 Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Host: Susquehanna University

The panel seeks to examine how shifts in the epistemological apparatuses that govern scientific knowledge production are enacted in and through the production of new cultural objects. We invite 20-minute contributions that explore the connections between epistemological formulations of natural order and peninsular cultural production during any historical period. We are also interested in the possible dialogue between works and authors from different periods. Please submit 250-300 word abstracts to Óscar Iván Useche (oiu1@columbia.edu)
