New Books: Spotted at the AHA

Here are three new books I didn’t know about until I saw them in the exhibition at the American Historical Assocation’s annual conference earlier this month:

Earle, Rebecca, The Body of the Conquistador: Food, Race and the Colonial Experience in Spanish America, 1492-1700 (Cambridge, 2012).

Byrne, Susan, Law and History in Cervantes’ Don Quixote (University of Toronto Press, 2012).

Clayton, Lawrence A., Bartolomé de Las Casas: A Biography (Cambridge University Press, 2012).
