Job Ad: Fordham, Iberian Atlantic

The Department of History at Fordham University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in Iberian Atlantic history. We are seeking a scholar working on the Iberian-Latin American connection, during any period. Teaching responsibilities include introductory courses in Latin American and in Spanish or Portuguese history, as well as advanced undergraduate and graduate courses in the candidate’s area of specialization. The position includes the opportunity to teach in the university’s interdisciplinary programs, such as the Latin American and Latino Studies Institute. Candidates must have the PhD in hand by September 1, 2013.
