Crawford on Noble Status and the Crown in EHQ Oct 2011 (& reviews)

European History Quarterly 41 (Oct. 2011) features an article by Michael Crawford, “Noble Status and Royal Duplicity in the Crown of Castile, 1454-1504.”

Also two reviews for us:

A review of Patricia E. Grieve, The Eve of Spain: Myths of Origin in the History of Christian, Muslim, and Jewish Conflict (Johns Hopkins, 2009).

A review of Gabriel B. Paquette, Enlightenment, Governance, and Reform in Spain and Its Empire, 1759-1808 (Palgrave Macmillan, 2008).

(EHQ doesn’t let us know who wrote the reviews in their previews!)
