The Body in the Bulletin of Spanish Studies, 2011 #3

The Bulletin of Spanish Studies, 2011 #3, has two articles for us. They both focus on issues of physicality, although seemingly coincidentally (it’s not a special issue on the body).

Michael P. McGlynn, “Saints Who Make Themselves Sick: A Note on Teresa de Jesús and the  So-Called Placebo Effect.”

Ryan Schmitz, “Prudence, Sincerity, and the Body’s Betrayal of the Simulated Self in Cervantes’ La señora Cornelia.”
